Welcome!

I've always been a sucker for a wedding. Always! So becoming a celebrant has been a dream come true.

There's nothing like being in the room for the love and sheer joy of a wedding day.

My job is to write a ceremony that sounds like you, and to look after you from our first chat to your last vow, so you can relax and enjoy every second.

Based in Northamptonshire, covering Oxfordshire and Warwickshire, and happy to travel anywhere in the UK.

A little more about me

A few things worth knowing about me before we meet.

Cake or cheese?

Cake.

Nothing wrong with cheese, but I'm a sugar fiend!

Go-to wedding song?

Shut Up and Dance

It's mine and my daughter's song. If we're in the same room and it comes on, we're dancing!

Favourite wedding moment?

A much loved, moth-eaten teddy as ring bearer

No nerves. Super confident. Got the job done!

My idea of a perfect wedding?

Happy tears, proper laughs and a dance floor nobody wants to leave!

Your turn! What's your song?

Questions you might have

Not seeing yours? Just ask, I'm always happy to chat.

Is a celebrant ceremony legally binding?

Under current law in England and Wales, a celebrant-led ceremony isn't legally binding on its own. Couples complete the legal side with a short registrar appointment, and then we create the ceremony that is truly yours. I'm happy to talk you through how the two fit together.

What happens at a celebrant-led ceremony?

Each ceremony is written around you: a welcome, your story, readings or music that mean something to you, your vows and the exchange of rings, then the moment you're declared married or partnered. We shape every part together, so nothing is a surprise unless you want it to be.

Can we write our own vows?

Of course! Some couples write every word, some prefer a simple promise to repeat, and some like a bit of both. I can offer guidance, examples and gentle nudges, whatever you need to feel comfortable.

Can we marry outdoors, and what if it rains?

Because your personal ceremony isn't tied to a licensed building, it can take place almost anywhere you and the venue are happy with, such as gardens, woodland, barns or your own home. We'll always talk through a backup plan so the day goes smoothly whatever the weather.

Can family, children or pets be part of it?

Absolutely. Children, parents, grandparents, friends and even four-legged guests can all have a role. There are also lovely rituals to choose from, like handfasting, candle lighting or sand blending.

Where do you work, and when should we get in touch?

I'm based in Northamptonshire, cover Oxfordshire and Warwickshire, and I'm happy to travel anywhere in the UK. Get in touch as soon as you have a date or venue in mind, or even before, and we can have a relaxed chat about what you're picturing.

How much does it cost?

Ceremonies start from £650. Travel is included within 20 miles of home, and for venues further afield, travel and accommodation expenses are added. You can see everything that's included in the How it works section.

How do I book you?

Just get in touch and we'll arrange a free, no-obligation chat. If you'd like to go ahead, a deposit is payable to secure your booking.
